Photograph caption dated November 14, 1957 reads "Members of the San Fernando Valley Republican Women's Club honor Mrs. Lou Cusanovich. Left to right are the honoree and Mrs. Charles Conrad, wife of the Assemblyman; Mrs. Joe Holt, wife of Congressman Holt, and Mrs. C. R. Naylor, president of the Valley Club. Mrs. Cusanovich is the school-teacher wife of the Republican candidate for the State Assembly in the 64th District vacated by City Councilman Pat McGee."
