Description
The American River Junior College opened their doors in 1955. Along with the prospect of higher education the college offered “The Beaver”, the campus newspaper. The paper functioned as the official publication of the Student Association of American River College and as a member of the California Journalism Association of Junior Colleges. Topics covered in the paper included: campus life and news, entertainment, sports, and political issues. The Majestic Press in Sacramento California continues to print the publication.
