Title transcribed from item. Signed on mount: "© Frederick Monsen." Monsen's typed label on back says: "Hopi Indians. Arizona. Masauwah, High priest of Mishongnovi, is one of the finest characters among the Hopi, loved and respected by all the people. He is judge and councilor and his wisdom is admired by all the Hopi." Published in series Monsen wrote for The Craftsman, March, 1907.
