Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on June 23, 1965 states: "This plaque honoring United States servicemen killed in war will be erected Saturday by the Geranium City Garden Club of Fairfield, Solano County, in special services on Interstate 80 between Fairfield and Vallejo. Admiring the plaque are, from left, Mrs. Edward W. Fehr, representing the district director of the Sacramento River Valley District of California Garden Clubs, Inc.; and Mrs. Leland Emigh, local project chairman, and Mrs. Samuel Wallace, president of the Geranium City Garden Club."
