Description
Seventy-nine years ago from February 4, 1928, the Jayhawkers who first crossed Death Valley's wastes reached Del Valle ranch house. Their descendants, holding a reunion there, are (left to right) Mrs. Margaret Carter, Henry Doty, Chester Doty, Mrs. Guilfoyle, Mrs. Florence Doty, Frank Doty, E. W. Mecum, Mrs. Emma O. Street, William A. Wiley, Mrs. Donald Cole. The children are Alice and Dorothy Wright and Don Cole.
