Photograph of KLM airliner in flight, ca.1960. At center, a lightly-colored airliner is seen with a darkly-colored stripe and underside. To the left, the tail of the aircraft is striped and a small emblem is visible near its center. Also, large black characters are also visible. Eighteen windows are visible on the side of the craft. The phrase "De Vliegende Hollander" is etched above a set of windows. Two sets of large propellers can be seen on each side of the plane on its wings. In the background, clouds can be seen surrounding the plane. In the extreme background, numerous mountains and valleys are visible.
