Connie and Todd begin the interview discussing what makes an acceptable, successful film screenplay, and the eight-minute rule. They move on to talk about films possibly becoming formulaic by following this rule before moving on to consider the pace of contemporary films, and Todd’s current projects. Connie and Todd then reflect on how Todd went about getting his book published, and the arrangement of the content in the book, before considering Todd’s evangelical upbringing and how it influenced his talent. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
