A chamber music group provides entertainment at the opening ceremony for the new West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library, 11360 Santa Monica Boulevard. The open music score on the stand reads: "Carl Fischer favorite concert album". The two-story building was designed by architects Allison and Rible to be the regional library for West Los Angeles, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Venice, Westchester, Mar Vista, and Palms. It was built in 1956 at a cost of $255,000. Photograph dated: November 9, 1956.
