Howard Fry came to Los Angeles from South Dakota in 1941, and then moved to Monterey Park in 1944. Mr. Fry was a member of the city council from 1960 to 1966, was mayor from 1962-63, and was City Treasurer from 1972 to 1976. In these interviews, he discusses his almost 50 years in Monterey Park.
