Loomis operation; Bruce Roeding with 1956 Cadillac Eldorado with EZA 749; Denio Mine (1955-1958) in Harney County Oregon above the Nevada line; With Henry Houck; George Roeding, Jr. filming; The mine had a big copper deposit at one time. Nursery grounds in Niles: 'Helen Borchers' flowering peach in the front yard near the Buxus hedge (on the left side arriving at residence); Borchers took over for W.B. Clarke? Looking at lawn from the nursery office. White pink rose and pink Magnolia Soulangeana. View of the Show Gardens and Retail Center. 'Parks' weeping cherry. Abies pinsapo on the left behind the windmill. Pink tree on right was a double flowering peach. Bulbs in beds. Frances used color schemes to place the bulbs. Problems with gophers and had to make gopher baskets. Magnolia soulangeana 'Lennei' from deGraff in Holland. Light pink rose and irises along a lawn. Stick fence path is in the shade garden on left of office. Park's Weeping Cherry (where windmill was). Sales sign in display garden. CNCo had a three bud head. Most growers had four.
