Photograph caption dated November 7, 1953 reads, "Panorama City's leading merchants met Tuesday to plan the community's 'Strike Back At Cancer' breakfast which will be held April 30. The 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. affair will be held in the parking lot at Panorama City. The entire proceeds will go to Cancer. Left to right are representatives of the Panorama Market, Sam Novicoff, Carl Titelman and Sid Sacks. Seated is Paul R. Sanders of the Panorama City Bank of America, and chairman of the Panorama City, Sepulveda and Northridge area of the American Cancer Society. At the right is television star Ina Ray Hutton. Tickets for the breakfast may be purchased from any merchant in Panorama City for 50 cents."
