Description
Photograph of the front entrance of the Exhibition Building, Los Angeles, [s.d.]. This Romanesque-style building stands about 3 stories tall. Some of its unique features are: round arches in the door and decorative arches near the roof massive articulated walls barrel vaulted doorways. The three visible entrances have highly decorated porticos with overdoor panels where a sculpture of two nude tots stand holding onto a seal. The seal above the main entrance has a flag pole(?) extending from it. A rope originating from the flagpole is tied to a lamp to keep it from dangling in front of the doorway. The main entrance has double doors, which lies between two wall lamps. The entrances on either side of the main entrance have single doors.
