Photograph shows Hamilton Cemetery. Written on back: Marker placed on September 16, 1949 by Herbert Cheever, distant relative of Ide. The marker on the reputed grave of W. B. Ide, 1st President of the California Bear Republic in the old Monroeville Cemetery about 4 miles south of Hamilton City.
