Description
The chips were down and the jig was up for the luxurious Wilshire District casino, after police raided the place. Four men shown, were among 13 men and four women who were arrested in the raid. Sol Green, 32, was booked on charges of conducting games which included roulette and dice. "Aw, gimme a break," he assertedly pleaded. Photo dated: April 10, 1949.
