Description: Paul Emery, Tom Schmidt, and Annie McCann, posing on the front steps of Hugh Gorman's place off of California and Temescal in 1977, formed a group that later became the Backwoods Jazz Band that played for Queen Elizabeth II in 1983 on her state visit to California.
