They are sitting under a tree. On the right the painted hut. On the left and in the background two further huts. Cf. photo no. 10336. -- Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
