Photograph caption dated January 24, 1956 reads "Leo Kaplan, seated left, president of Turbo Products, Inc., Pacoima manufacturer of jet engines, signs two-year contract with Scelecttor Gage, representing Turbo Unit Local 645, UAW-AFL-CIO. Contract provides for wage increases from seven to 25 cents an hour. Union negotiators looking on are, from left, Ruby Briggs, Melvin Bidding, Elton Chandler Jr., Thomas Cook, Clifford Hensley, Paul Fitspatrick, Jack Snider, William Adler, Raymond Donaldson, Elmo Davis and C. H. Donaldson."
