Description
Photograph of a view of Nob Hill, showing homes and the shipyard along the harbor point, ca.1890. A train of railroad cars is pictured to the right, parked on a track that skirts the edge of a giant pile of lumber in the ship yard. To the left, several small buildings that could either be shipping houses or homes are scattered in the foreground, while farther in the distance, a number of buildings more suggestive of a town can be seen on the ridge.
