Description
Directory of the grape growers, wine makers and distillers of California and of the grape growers and wine makers of the Eastern States compiled by the Board of State Viticultural Commissioners. The California section of the directory was compiled by the commissioners of the seven viticultural districts and includes information on acreage, varietals and production. The distiller's portion was compiled through IRS records. The information for the Eastern states was obtained solely through correspondence and the Board does not make any claim that it is complete although almost 3,000 names were included
