Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated June 15, 1965 partially reads, "The sun came out for charity, and so did the Valley, when the Cadenzas sponsored their annual benefit Day at the Races at Hollywood Park in Inglewood. It was a though the weatherman put in a special order for the event, as the gloomy, cloudy skies of the earlier June days gave way to the brilliance of the sun. Cadenzas and their guests boarded buses at Pucci's Restaurant in Encino and journeyed to the racetrack for luncheon and an afternoon of 'watching the thoroughbreds run.' Mrs. Madill Gartiser, Northridge, newly installed president of the group, was chairman of the day."
