Photograph caption dated May 20, 1961 reads "Supervisor Warren M. Dorn joins these San Fernando Valley girls in inviting the public to take part in the first annual Conservation Day to be celebrated Sunday at the County-owned Roger Jessup Park in Pacoima, featured by a huge barbecue and outdoor sports competition sponsored by 120 sportsmen's clubs in the Southern Council. From left are Debbie Dunlap, Woodland Hills; Cathy Duncan, Burbank; Supervisor Dorn, and Sue Kohler, Burbank. The girls are queens for the archery, trap and skeet shooting, fly and bait casting events."
