Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph caption dated March 2, 1954 reads, "Begins fiddling career. Wayne Daringer, Tolua Lake Elementary School student, won't have to shine shoes for fiddle as he had planned. Here ex-Iowa farm boy tries out violin given by former Burbank painist. Offers of more free violins and even free lessons are pouring into Valley Times. That missing tooth came out in auto accident, taking $3 shoe shine money Wayne had earned toward purchase of violin."
