Description: "Mme K. Fagereng et Wersland dans l'alle cote ouest" ("Mrs. K. Fagereng og Wersland walking in the avenue on the west side"). Martha Kristine Fagereng, maiden name Hoeihilder, was a missionary in Madagascar from 1893-1896 and 1903-1937. She married Edvard Fagereng 1862-1899, a missionary in Madagascar from 1893-1896, in Morondava, Madagascar on July 28, 1895. Valborg Amalie Wersland was a missionary in Madagascar from 1927-1940. She married Thollef Steen, born in 1906, in USA in 1942. -- Beautiful oleanders on the right side corner of the picture.
