In 1960, the North Hollywood YMCA became the East Valley YMCA.
Mrs. Fred Cooper stands with Al S. Keller (left) and Bud Linn, members of the YMCA. Photograph caption dated January 26, 1949 reads, "Al S. Keller and Bud Linn today were 'men of the year' of the North Hollywood-Studio City Y.M.C.A. Linn is a member of the 'King's Men' quartet of the Fibber McGee and Molly show. Keller is connected with the Hollywood Audit Co. Announcement of the choice was made at last night's meeting. Master of Ceremonies Jennings Pierce said the two men have contributed outstanding service to the Y.M.C.A. during the last 15 years. Board Chairman John Tuttle reported on the state of the organization."
