Photograph of aerial view of flooded area of Arroyo Seco, Sycamore Grove, 1938. At center, a wide river can be seen extending from the foreground into the background. Large banks of dirt and mud can be seen on either side of the river, and a mound of dirt can also be seen at the center of the river. In the foreground, a group of damaged structures can be seen on the left bank of the river. To the right, a heavily damaged road can be seen along the base of the mountain. A set of railway tracks can be seen adjacent to the left bank of the river. Further to the left, groups of large homes and roadways can be seen. In the background at center, another damaged road is visible along the right bank of the river. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A.
