Photograph caption dated September 16, 1959 reads "Mrs. Henry LeClerc, 7020 Millwood Ave., Canoga Park, displays giant butterfly she found flitting in her garage. Butterfly, which has purple markings, has 8-inch wing spread and resembles small sparrow in size."
