Description
Photograph caption dated March 15, 1960 reads, "Forty-nine star flag, that once flew over capitol in Washington, is presented to Rio Vista School by Jacques Schiller, 11, second from right, who calls attention to number of stars. Jacques got flag after sending special request to Congressman Joe Holt. Mrs. Jeannette C. Button, principal, receives gift which is held by Jack Gould, 11, left, and Larry Zika, 11. All three boys are members of Cub Scout Pack 82. Presentation was made during youth activity day attended by 80 parents."
