Photograph of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Casino and Plunge buildings from the pier, ca.1907-1911. "Throngs of bathers crowd the beach and surf. Nearly 30 American flags fly from the tops of almost all of the buildings. Pedestrians stroll the promenade along the beach. A person in a small boat is visible at left". The large building on the right has a rounded wall with many arched windows over the arcade below. Circular windows can be seen in the building on the right and the center portion of the roof is rounded with a glass surface protruding from the center.
