Description
"Lansdowne: Br. Joorst jun., vgl. Missionsblatt 1934, S. 147 oben." ("Lansdowne: Br[other] Joorst jun[ior], cf. Missionsblatt 1934, p. 147 top."). The picture shows a young man of mixed origin who wears a dark colored suit and a white shirt. He holds a bell in is left hand. Behind him a white building. Written on the card board: 14.II.34. P. Theile."
Cf. photo no. 9636 and no. 9637. -- Rudolph Joorst worked as teacher and missionary in Moravian Hope from 1938 to 1947 and in Moutonsvallei from 1947 to 1954.
