Photograph article dated December 6, 1961 partially reads, "Mrs. Florence Myers treated some gophers to strychnine-flavored carrots recently, but she never put poison in her husband's peaches, she has told the Valley Times TODAY. Mrs. Myers, 54, 5495 Round Meadow Rd., Hidden Hills, was scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing today in Dept. 106 of Los Anegles [sic] Superior Court on a charge that she tried to kill her husband, Virgil, by poisoning a can of peaches."
