Description
Pictured here in 1935, the auto shop and upholstery business of Fred P. Fritz shared 1615 J St. with William H. Bartlett's Automobile Body Work, Auto Painting, Fender and Body Repair Shop. The employees of both enterprises, along with two company service trucks, pose for this photograph on the south side of J Street. Just a year later, Bartlett purchased the entire building and expanded the size of the structure by 4,000 square feet. He also had a staff of 17.
