Description
Convalescent camp near Alexandria, Virginia. Photograph shows the entrance to a military hospital facility known as "Camp Misery". Center building with the words Head Quarters printed above double doors where a small group of men stand. There are two types of ambulances and a family carriage in front of the building with several more men in the road. Behind this scene are rows of white barracks and men. In the foreground there are trees with very few leaves. This image similar to photCL 301 (86). Title on mount: Convalescent Camp (winter). Handwritten in upper left corner: No. 27.
