Five Canoga Park schools participated in honoring the community's Mexican sister city of Taxco in conjunction with Mexico's national holiday. Groups from Sutter and Hughes junior high schools, Canoga Park and Capistrano elementary schools and Canoga Park High School performed with the featured Choral Group of the Guadalupe Youth Center at the program last night. Scores of Cinco celebrants filled Los Angeles' Old Plaza also to commemorate Mexico's 1862 victory over French invaders."
