Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph caption dated September 4, 1962 reads "Baby Derek--and mother--get Social Security card from Agent Gary Herbel." The article partially reads "Two-month-old Derek Nippe of Canoga Park is probably one of the Valley's youngest wage earners. And he even has his own Social Security card. He went to work at the age of one month playing a role in a Hollywood motion picture--the role of a baby, naturally."
