Photograph caption dated May 21, 1963 reads "Fellow golfers Don Drysdale, pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Mark Dowaliby, 2-year-old son of Woodland Hills Country Club golf professional Mike Dowaliby, compare notes before teeing off Monday at the country club. Drysdale, a Van Nuys resident, was one of several baseball players playing in the annual Dodgers golf tournament while Mark was just looking for tips on swinging his specially built driver. From the center picture, it is evident that Don muffed his shot, though Mark looks very pleased with his booming drive off the tee. Then, it's off in different directions for the two golfers, Mark to study some more swings and Don to hack his way around the course. Don didn't remember much about his lesson with Mark. His 18-hole score of 91 was well behind the winning 81 posted by Dodger Ron Fairly." See images 00157936 through 00157938 for all photos in this series.
