Photograph caption dated November 24, 1964 reads, "Celebrating their 50th anniversary recently were Mr. and Mrs. John Margoles, Sherman Oaks. The couple has two sons, Sherman Margoles of Encino and Horace Margoles of Milwaukee, Wisc.; two daughters, Mrs. Stan Clamage, Framington [sic], Mich., and Mrs. Paul Guten, Glenview, Ill., and 11 grandchildren. Mr. Margoles, a former builder of custom homes in Milwaukee for 32 years and real estate broker, is an office management consultant with Selogram Plastics Company. He is vice president of the Senior Group of Temple Beth Hillel, North Hollywood. His wife is co-tribute chairman of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of Women's American ORT. They moved to California from Wisconsin in 1961."
