150th anniversary of the arrival of the first christian missionaries in Madagascar. During the ceremony which gather nearly 150000 people in the stadium of Mahamasina, the president of the malagasy republic, M. Philibert Tsiranana, pays homage to the Bible and its part in the formation of the malagasy civilisation and unity.
