Caption on back of photo reads: Boxing team loses but Maxie does allright (sic). San Jose, Calif. -- In a recent boxing match with San Jose State College fighters, Pvt. Max Baer's Camp Tanforan fisticuffers didn't do very well, in fact they lost 7 1/2 to 2 1/2; but Maxie did allright (sic) as he clowned through two rounds each with San Jose State students Dan Conforti and Bob Creighton and beating boxing coach Dee Portal.
