Photograph caption dated October 13, 1956 reads, "Civil Air Patrol officers plan annual search and rescue mission to be held this weekend at Hemet. Air Force personnel will supervise operation and CAP members will set up 'emergency' headquarters. Right is Capt. Bud Loba, commanding officer of Van Nuys Squadron. Cadet 1st Lt. Barbara Martin, commandant Girls' Blue Angel Squadron, and Jim Dineau, Group 5, left, listen to instructions."
