Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated September 16, 1960 reads "Mr. and Mrs. William Bates of Van Nuys are seen receiving check for $500 from Dan Schwartz, Renault dealer in Van Nuys. The John Green Corporation in cooperation with Renault offered a trip to Paris for two, a new Renault Dauphine and $250 spending money, and an additional $250 if the entrant took a demonstration ride in a Renault, which Mr. Bates did. Mr. and Mrs. Bates will leave for Paris in October, where they will pick up their Dauphine, then have it shipped to Los Angeles free of charge."
