Description
Shows horse-drawn wagon, topped with throne pulled by swan, banners of the Dardanelle Parlor, N.D.G.W. and Tuolumne Parlor, N.S.G.W. at back. Figures dressed as gold miners, one dressed as Uncle Sam on float.

Sonora celebrated 45th anniversary of California's statehood on Sept. 9, 1895 with parade of floats, bands, marching groups. Image is possibly one of these floats.
