Description
Photograph of horse-drawn buggies parked along Sacramento Street in Lodi, ca.1905. Three buggies are parked near a wooden fence at left. In the foreground at right is a grassy area enclosed by a wooden post-and-rail fence. Several large palm trees are located in the grass. In the distance, across Sacramento Street, is a line of tall buildings, all of which have cloth awnings over the sidewalk in front of them. The grassy area with the palm trees would later become a railroad right of way.
