Photograph caption dated November 16, 1956 reads, "Start new Lankershim truck route - Police officer directs trucks to new Lankershim boulevard detour which will divert trucks away from North Hollywood business district. Scene is at Lankershim and Burbank. Southbound trucks turn east onto Burbank, travel east to Vineland and south on Vineland to it's [sic] intersection with Lankershim at Camarillo street. Trucks will be barred from the Lankershim strip from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from the Vineland route from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m."; See image #00136586 for additional photo in this series.
