1989-1264. In: [Scenes of Sacramento] [manuscript] / Eugene Walter Hepting. [Sacramento, Calif. : E. Hepting, 1938?], Vol. C, leaf 31. View of a corner on which is situated a building whose 1st floor business has its entrance on the corner; above entrance is sign "Sacramento Abstract & Title Co."; on second floor sign identifies tenant as "Title Insurance & Guaranty Co. Branch Office"; on corner 2nd &: 3rd floors have round arched windows in pairs; on short side on right floors have single arched windows, 3 on each floor;long side on left has arched windows as well; other businesses are to right side of the principal buildings. Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento. "Owned by the LaRue people. Erected about 1870, formally called the 'Lull House', owned then by S. J. Nathan, '199' 7th street."
