An oral history with Tu Anh Vu, an airline avionics technician for United Airlines, detailing his experiences as a first-generation Vietnamese American refugee in Southern California. This interview focuses on his experiences as a pilot in the South Vietnamese Air Force while in Vietnam. It continues with his struggles coming to the United States in 1975 and adapting to a new environment for the sake of his family and community.
