Photograph caption dated August 27, 1958 reads, "Something new in automobile promotion reached the Valley this week with announcement by Carl Canatta, manager of Valley Plymouth, that the child's model of the Plymouth Fury, shown above, would be awarded to some lucky youngster at the Valley Plymouth showrooms, 6700 Reseda Blvd., Reseda, at 3 p.m. Labor Day. The model, called Fabulous Fury Jr., is an actual replica except that top speed is 6 mph and not 140. All Valley children, 6 to 12, are eligible for this award. The model is valued in excess of $400. Good-looking youngsters above are Kristi and Steve, children of Manager Canatta."
