Description
The Mill Valley and Mt. Tamalpais Scenic Railway's Heisler Engine No. 2, the Joseph G. Eastland, standing in the streets of Mill Valley. The locomotive's cylinders sloped diagonally under the boiler to drive the central shaft, beneath the wheels. In the cab are Engineer Chester Thomas and Fireman Thomas H. Bennett.
