Description
Elroy Christian was a machine forger and a life-long San Jose resident, going back four generations. Christian learned his trade working for the John Christian Manufacturing Company, which was founded by his great grandfather in San Jose, and manufactured farm implements. The interview documents this dying craft, the pioneer family history, and the history of one of the original manufacturing businesses of San Jose.
