Divided back. Linen texture. Pictorial Wonderland Art-Tone Series. Caption on reverse: Cleopatra's Needle. Popularly termed Cleopatra's Needle, this obelisk, standing in Rosicrucian Park, San Jose, California, adjacent to the Rosicrucian Planetarium, one of six in the United States, used for demonstrating the movements of the stars, planets, and the Cosmic bodies, is a reproduction on the great obelisk of Heliopolis, Egypt. It is exactly like the original in finish and hieroglyphic inscriptions--the only one ever constructed in the United States.
