Description
"Der erste Einschnitt der Chapmans-Peak-Straße." ("The first indentation of Chapman's Peak Road."). In the center of the picture is a car standing on a coastal road which is surrounded by rocks. Two people are sitting on the balustrade of a viewing platform to the right. In the background there is the ocean.
Chapman's Peak Road was built between 1915 and 1922 by dynamiting the rocks along the coast.
